ShegerPay confirms that a payment actually happened — in seconds, through one API. Depending on the rail, verification uses the official transaction reference, the receipt link or QR code, or OCR reading of a receipt screenshot. Funds never touch ShegerPay: customers pay your account directly, and ShegerPay provides the proof.

Ethiopian banks & mobile money

• Verify CBE payments — Commercial Bank of Ethiopia transfers, verified from the receipt QR/URL or reference in about a second.
• Verify Telebirr payments — Ethio Telecom's mobile money, verified from the receipt QR or transaction ID.

How it works

1. Your customer pays your account on any supported rail and shares the reference, receipt link, or screenshot.
2. Your app calls POST /verify (or the customer submits through your payment link).
3. ShegerPay checks the official source — bank API, receipt endpoint, or OCR + validation — and returns the verified amount, sender, and status, then fires an HMAC-signed webhook.
